Northwestern humbles Ohio State at home 70-49
— Nick Martinelli scored 18 points and Northwestern pulled away in the second half to beat Ohio State 70-49 on Thursday night.
With its 70-49 upset win at Columbus Thursday, Northwestern (14-13, 5-11) has won three straight vs. Ohio State (15-12, 7-9) for the first time since 1966-67 and two straight road matchups against the Buckeyes for the first time since 1932-34. It was the first road win for the Wildcats this season.
