Women's International Friendly News

Emma Hayes reflects on the USWNT's late loss to Brazil and the lessons she's been able to learn from the latest camp.

Brazil edged out the U.S. women's national team with a 2-1 victory on Tuesday in a hard-fought friendly in San Jose, California.

USWNT manager Emma Hayes believes the quality of the senior players in her squad allow the youngsters to play with confidence.

Two wins from two represented a welcome reprieve for a Matildas side low on confidence. But, with a home Asian Cup now just months away, the coaching cloud continues to loom over Australia's national team.

Trinity Rodman scored five minutes into her USWNT return as they beat Brazil 2-0 at the SoFi Stadium.
