Coppa Italia News

Inter Milan recovered from a goal down to earn a 1-1 draw against AC Milan in the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final tie on Wednesday as Tammy Abraham and Hakan Çalhanoglu both scored in the second half.

A Thijs Dallinga double helped Bologna to a 3-0 win at Empoli in the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final tie on Tuesday, as the visitors remained on course to end their over 50-year wait to lift the trophy.
AC Milan’s season has fallen far short of expectations, but a Coppa Italia triumph would offer a route back into Europe, manager Sergio Conceicao said ahead of their semi-final first leg against Inter Milan on Wednesday.

The Italian league will offer more transparency over video review decisions, including limited in-stadium announcements of the referee's conversations with the VAR.

Taking responsibility for bad results is a good thing, but Juventus boss Thiago Motta took it entirely too far after his team was dumped from the Champions League and Coppa Italia in the same week. Serie A seems lost, too.
