FIFA Women's World Cup News

U.S. Soccer Federation president Cindy Parlow Cone is set to be elected to the FIFA Council, sources tell ESPN.

A bid by the United States and Mexico to co-host the 2031 Women's World Cup can face only a rival bid from Africa, with FIFA on Wednesday excluding Europe from the contest.

FIFA has announced that the Women's Club World Cup, originally planned to debut in 2026, will now launch in 2028, with an inaugural FIFA Women's Champions Cup to begin in 2026.

The Football Associations of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales will bid to host the 2035 Women's World Cup, the Football Association confirmed on Wednesday.

Captain Ahmed Musa has returned to the Nigeria squad for the first time since February 2024 after coach Eric Chelle named an enlarged 39-man provisional squad for this month's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
