Sources: Notre Dame to hire Chris Ash as defensive coordinator
Chris Ash has accepted the job of defensive coordinator at Notre Dame, sources told ESPN. It will be his fifth coordinator job at a power conference program.
Sources: Chris Ash has accepted the job as Notre Dame’s new defensive coordinator. Ash brings a blend of coordinating experience, NFL experience and high-end results as a collegiate coordinator. A deal is expected to be finalized in the near future.
Ash worked as Ohio State’s co-defensive coordinator on the school’s 2014 title team and has been part of four Big Ten title. . This will be his fifth power conference DC job, which comes after four seasons in the NFL.
