Green posted 18 carries and backfield mate Luke Yoder scored two touchdowns and ran for 73 yards on 12 carries. Yoder's 20-yard scoring run was the game's first score. The pair each reached the end zone in the second quarter when Green ran it in from the 11 and Yoder crashed in from a yard out to make it 21-7 before halftime.
Princeton's Bliane Hipa threw for 219 yards with two touchdowns but was intercepted three times. His 3-yard scoring pass to Tyler Picinic brought the Tigers within 28-20 with 9:54 left.
It was Lehigh’s (3-1) first win against an Ivy League program since 2016.
