LSU is allowing OC Charlie Weis Jr. and RBs coach Kevin Smith to stay with Ole Miss to coach in the Fiesta Bowl, sources told ESPN on Tuesday.
Sources said LSU received assurance from the Ole Miss administration that there is nothing to tampering allegations, that the leader of the Ole Miss collective voiced concerns of his own last week … so the LSU administration allowed Lane Kiffin to send OC Charlie Weiss Jr. and running backs coach Kevin Smith at 10:30 p.m. last night to Ole Miss and they are both expected to arrive in Arizona later today to continue to coach them in the CFP.
