After visiting with Miami this weekend, days before the Hurricanes play for the national title, Arizona State transfer quarterback Sam Leavitt signed with LSU, sources told ESPN on Monday night, choosing to play for new coach Lane Kiffin and the Tigers.
Sources: Arizona State transfer quarterback Sam Leavitt is expected to sign with LSU. Leavitt’s pick comes after trips to Kentucky, Tennessee and Miami. He led ASU to the College Football Playoff in 2024 and has 4,652 career passing yards and 36 touchdowns.
Leavitt has also run for 816 yards and 10 touchdowns in his career, which began at Michigan State.
