Indiana's 27-21 CFP title victory over Miami Monday raised its record to 16-0 and gave IU undefeated national championship seasons in football and men's basketball (32-0 in 1975-76). The Hoosiers are just the second team to hold both distinctions, joining UCLA, which accomplished it in football in 1954 (the Bruins went 9-0 & were #1 in the UP coaches & Football Writers Assn. polls and Ohio State went 10-0 and was #1 in the AP poll) and in basketball in 1963-64, 1966-67, 1971-72 and 1972-73.
